Oran Tarlton

President

Oran Tarlton is the Founder and President of Blue Water Technologies, LLC. He has 32 years of subsea marine construction and engineering experience. Before starting Blue Water Technologies in 2007, Mr. Tarlton was Vice President of Deep Water Technologies at Oil States Industries, where he also held the positions of Vice President of Engineering and Project Manager. Prior to joining Oil States in 1995, he was Vice President and General Manager of Furmanite America, Inc., an energy services firm. Mr. Tarlton started his career as a commercial diver with Cal Dive International in 1977. He has Bachelor of Science in Maritime Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MBA from the University of Houston.

Sean Blackmon

Vice President Engineering

Sean Blackmon, PE is the Vice President of Engineering of Blue Water Technologies, LLC. He has over 12 years engineering and project management experience in the marine subsea construction industry and in new product development for the US Military and industrial manufacturing industries. Prior to Blue Water Technologies, Mr. Blackmon was a Project Manager with Product Concept Development Inc., and a Project Engineer with Oil States Industries and Big Inch Marine Systems. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.

Doug Watkins

Vice President Operations

Doug Watkins, PE is the Vice President of Operations of Blue Water Technologies, LLC. He has over 22 years engineering experience in the design and manufacturing of subsea connector systems, pipeline repair systems, and oil and gas measurement equipment for the offshore industry. Prior to Blue Water Technologies, Mr. Watkins was the Engineering Manager with Daniel Measurement and Controls, Inc., and a Project Engineer with FMC Technologies and Stolt Offshore, Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
